The first training course on Capacity Building, Planning and Construction Management Program at KIST

Within the framework of the project "Cooperation to build the Vietnam-Korea Science and Technology Institute" (M Good88 link), Korea International Cooperation Agency in Vietnam (KOICA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), Korean Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), Vietnam - Korea Institute of Science and Technology (M Good88 link) organize training courses on building administrative capacity, planning and construction management for M Good88 link staffs, civil servants and officals and the M Good88 link-affiliated unit is the Project Management Unit for Cooperation in Building Vietnam-Korea Institute of Science and Technology in Vietnam (M Good88 link PMU).

The training course was held from September 25, 2019 to October 1, 2019 at KIST headquarters in Seoul - South Korea. The training course was attended by 10 participants from M Good88 link and M Good88 link PMU.

This program of administrative capacity building, planning and construction management is a good opportunity for trainees to gain valuable experience of KIST experts. The knowledge and information shared by KIST experts is essential in the initial stage of M Good88 link.

The course contents includes: Learn about Korea's economic development experience and KIST's development history as well as KIST's role in the Korean economy, Learn about the operating mechanism at KIST related to accounting finance, document storage management, communication, research project plan management, procurement of property management, human resources, construction management and building operation.

At the closing ceremony, KIST gave the trainees the certificate of attendance. Expressing the feeling after the course, all M Good88 link members were grateful for the careful preparation of KIST and expected the following training courses to be able to have more in-depth and advanced knowledge to improve the capacity of each individual for better contributing to M Good88 link.
